We travelled from Eden to Yarra Valley and decided to stop over for a night. Black Spur Inn is a cozy country style motel, very big room considering we are a family of 4. Very clean room and bright bathroom. The food at the restaurant was great and there is a bar next door where one can chill after a long drive. The Inn is only 10min to Steavensons Fall and try not to miss Bruno&#39;s Sculpture Art Garden.

Got recommended to go there by a vineyard near by and was conveniently located close to our hotel. We got there and we had a really poor service by the staff who would not give us a table by the window. The meal was really average, the pork belly did not have crackling skins and the fish was overcooked. I probably would not stop there again.

Visited here for lunch on queens bday weekend and was extremely disappointed. We were told we should go there by one of the local wineries-I suggest some of the locals should eat there before suggesting it. The food was ok-I had the pork belly and it was so so. There was absolutely no crackle on the pork at all so the fat was soggy and all the way through the meal. The average pork I can out up with-it&#39;s the rude service I cannot. The lady that served us for a table was exceptionally rude and I should have followed my first instinct to just leave after that. She had absolutely no smile, she seated us by the window facing the road. I asked for us to sit down in the main area by the garden to which she replied &quot;no I have no tables for 2 down there so I would have to split up a table for 4&quot;. The restaurant was less than half full. Her service didn&#39;t get any better after that. For a lunch that will set you back at least $27-$33 per meal you can do so much better in a beautiful region.
